Melissa Siebert earned her BA from Kent State University, where she majored in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Sociology, Political Science, Philosophy and Women’s Studies. After working as an educator in Eastern Europe for two years, she returned to the U.S and received a master's degree in Intercultural and International Management. She was employed in the non-profit field for a number of years, organizing communities around issues of voting rights and the rights of the LGBTQIA community before returning to graduate school to earn a Masters in Counseling. She is the mother of two amazing boys and two adorable puppies.
