Brooke is a social justice advocate and scholar committed to serving marginalized communities. A proud Bison (Howard), Panther (VUU), and Ram (VCU) alum, they hold degrees in Political Science, theological studies, and curriculum studies. They are on track to complete their PhD in Education in 2026, where their research examines how Black, queer, AFAB learners navigate intersectional structural barriers.
Guided by the belief that everyone can be a scholar, Brooke works to bridge the gap between academia and nontraditional learners. They have facilitated hundreds of trainings, conversations, and classes across diverse communities. Having called Richmond home for over a decade, Brooke is deeply committed to creating inclusive spaces for BIPOC communities and dismantling barriers at the local level.
